Dr. Saadia Lakhany Raza received her undergraduate degree from Emory University in Atlanta where she double majored in Chemistry and Near Eastern Studies. In 1997 she finished medical school, and earned her MD, also from Emory University. She completed an internship in general surgery training at Emory in 1998. Following her internship, Dr. Raza completed a melanoma research fellowship at Washington University. She finished her dermatology residency at Washington University in 2003, serving as the administrative chief resident. In addition, Dr. Raza was a cosmetic fellow with Dr. Roberta Sengelmann at Washington University from 2003-2004. Finally, she completed her Mohs College affiliated fellowship in 2005 at Emory University.

Dr. Raza is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American College of Mohs Surgery, American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, Missouri Dermatological Society, St. Louis Dermatologic Society, and St. Louis Dermatologic Journal Club. 

In addition, Dr. Raza is the current president of the St. Louis Dermatologic Society.
